Bug in libxml2 v2.7.0-2.7.2 Affecting Wordpress

There is a bug that prevents the updating of wordpress posts using XML-RPC if you are using libxml2 versions 2.7.0-2.7.2 and php 5.2.9. Here are links describing the problem:

I am upgrading to the current stable 5.2.10 and will update when this is finished…

UPDATE:

Didn’t work. I am still getting the error below:

Please leave a comment if you have any suggestions.

UPDATE (08/13/09):

This has been resolved with the update to WordPress 2.8.4! Thanks for your input.

Your RSD URL – http://www.bldrco.net/xmlrpc.php?rsd – has a line in it that I’m pretty sure isn’t valid XML:

Grab a fresh copy of xmlrpc.php from the current version of WordPress and try it again.
